About Campaign
Several decades ago, Father Eugenio Petrogalli founded the Combonian Mission Good Shepherd, which now includes a school complex with a kindergarten, an elementary school, and a middle school (Junior High School), attended by 600 children and adolescents. At present, Father Petrogalli is 81 years old.
In 2021, the mission began the construction of a new building to accommodate the elementary school. However, external assistance was necessary to continue the project. In November, GIWA facilitated a donation from Zonda Tec Ghana, which provided the necessary funds to complete the project. GIWA monitors the progress of the work and updates the donor on the progress made, with the hope of inaugurating the building soon.
This is a clear example of how GIWA can inspire others to show solidarity and provide significant resources for the development of schools.

It’s important to regularly step back and think about how our everyday actions impact the planet. Right now, there are 150 million metric tons of plastic in our oceans—and we’re releasing an additional 8 million metric tons each year. Plastic pollution exists almost everywhere in the ocean, from the remote seas of the Arctic to the floor of the deep sea.
