About Campaign

In 2022, GIWA empowered women for health decisions, hygiene education; critical for equality, poverty reduction, economic growth. Received GHC 38,000 in medicines. Consulted City of God’s Father Subash, assessed Old Fadama needs. Focused on health ed. for girls, choices in education, work, relationships; combatting early marriage, teen pregnancy exacerbated by pandemic. Committed to resource coordination, effective girl intervention via stakeholder collaboration.

GIWA also made donations and rescued women retained at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on failure to pay their hospital bills after giving birth.
