GIWA focuses on investing in the SCHOLARSHIP program to enable children to attend school without any interruptions and without being forced to leave. Additionally, the association launches various initiatives to improve the quality of education, such as purchasing and donating textbooks. Despite the efforts, a significant number of children and young people are still unable to access education due to various reasons, including poverty. Those with disabilities are often neglected or abandoned on the streets. GIWA believes that only through continuous learning can children develop the necessary skills to overcome major obstacles and ensure their future employability.

It’s important to regularly step back and think about how our everyday actions impact the planet. Right now, there are 150 million metric tons of plastic in our oceans—and we’re releasing an additional 8 million metric tons each year. Plastic pollution exists almost everywhere in the ocean, from the remote seas of the Arctic to the floor of the deep sea.
