About Campaign

The St. Bakhita School Complex, founded by Reverend Father George Ossom-Batsa in 2003 as a girls’ training center, now expanded into a mixed school. It follows the principle of inclusion, requiring minimal contributions from families and supporting those in need. GIWA provided financial aid to 42 students, covering school fees, exam fees, uniforms, books, medical expenses, and activity materials. Additionally, GIWA supported two families in restarting their businesses. A meeting between St. Bakhita and Ethiopian friends resulted in a donation for solar panels to address frequent power outages, which caused inconvenience for studying and meal preparation.
